Search was a primary entry point in Amazon Music but largely limited to direct lookups. As competitors invested in AI-driven discovery and conversational search, customer expectations shifted toward more intuitive, exploratory ways to find music—creating pressure to evolve search beyond basic retrieval.

I led the design strategy for Amazon Music’s AI-powered Search, transforming search into a discovery experience with AI-generated insights, curated results, and personalized recommendations. Built on generative AI, the feature helps customers explore artists, genres, and moods more naturally—driving deeper engagement within a single, seamless flow.
